产品介绍	Catalase is a hemoprotein containing four subunits which decomposes peroxide. To remove thymol from Product C128522, measure desired amount of mixed suspension, centrifuge to collect enzyme crystals, remove supernatant. Resuspend crystals in one-half initial volume of water, respin. Discard wash supernatant and dissolve crystals in buffer of choice.

生化机理	Catalase catalyzes the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen. Catalase from bovine liver catalyzes the decomposition of H2O2 into water and oxygen. Activates the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide, Natural antioxidant used to study roles of reactive oxygen species in gene expression and apoptosis.
备注	A crystalline aqueous suspension of approximately 6 mg/ml containing thymol as a preservative. DO NOT STORE IN PLASTIC: CONTAINS THYMOL.
应用	Catalase is used to eliminate H2O2 from enzymatic oxidation reactions.
